Apologies if I've missed something, but at the start of Goodnight Mr Tom (TX 10.25am Boxing Day) as well as the Subtitles caption on-screen there was also one for Audio Description in a speech bubble with AD written in it, how long have ITV been doing this?

The same appeared at the start of Downton Abbey.

It was about two or three weeks ago, I first noticed on an Emmerdale episode but somebody noticed that they were also on the Corrie titles that same day..

Isn't using a graphic to denote that a programme has AD similar to using a voiceover to announce that a programme has subtitles?

I have to ask Why are the It'll be Alright on the nights with Griff Rhys Jones Unnumbered? Why are there not number: 21 - 24: the next one should be 25.

I have also notice a lack of USA clips and also Euro clips. Hopeful a another foreign Alright will appear during 2012.

does anyone have any idea of its ratings?

They were numbered but they seem to have started from 1 this Christmas, whether that will continue we'll have to see.

I didn't really mind that, the main thing is that they have some sort of quality threshold. If they've enough good ones from the UK then why look abroad? Although the inclusion of that ancient News 24 wrong guest clip was an oddity.

The 2 over Christmas were excellent I thought. In these days when even YouTube productions have their own blooper reel it's good to have some quality cock-ups.

Just going back to a few pages ago... the new You've Been Framed music sounds awfully similar to this rarely seen/heard 1997 opening sequence.

I say it's rare as it was only used for one series.

Did they play the wrong sponsor just then? The sponsor had the only way is essex instead of TV Burp.

No, it was the correct sponsor (Harry Hill's TV Burp was included in the voiceover and was written underneath the sponsor's logo).

They just had other programme names in the top left hand corner (which also included Dancing on Ice and I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here).

Noticed that an advert for that new Tuesday night gameshow (the one with all the rooms) was announced as only being on ITV1 rather than ITV1 and ITV1 HD. Surely it's in HD? Perhaps they're going to stop announcing the HD bit from now on?

Well, they don't need to say it do they? Isn't everything on the HD channel, with non HD shows just getting upscaled?

There also seem to be quite a few trailers at the moment without the itv1 logo. Drama, I partly understand with the specialised 'DRAMA 2012' sting and end cap, though it doesn't appear to apply to all of them with some trailers with & some without. The FA Cup trailers & also the biggest loser are two other examples.

Maybe along with the wording of the trails they're trying something new. It's the mish mash of with & without that I don't particularily like.
