The BBC's closed websites didn't break any 'broadcasting regulations' they were just treading on the toes of commercial websites.
However ITV did have some websites and practises that would fall foul of the regulations now, like G-wizz (an ISP run by Granada the address of which was on their idents) and the above which is basically a Panasonic advert
Is anyone else fed up of Marlon? He's ruining Emmerdale for me, Everything is so over the top with him, He's always in nearly every scene, You just can't get away from him, Mark was very much like his character on the big quiz very over the top, making a big fuss of being team captain and taking the limelight all the time
Hopefully this coupled with the investment in ITV Trafford and the new base in MediaCity means ITV is gonna start focusing on the North a little more than it does right now

You have got to be joking! Most Television programmes these days are either aimed at Northerners or feature Northerners or the North in some way (and this includes the BBC). I would like to see some more programmes based in the South and feature real Southerners (ie not anyone from that horrible place called Essex or London). Why should I pay the licence fee just to watch people continuously mispronounce every word in the English language? It is only a matter of time when Surrey will become Surreh.

For a while around 1997/8 you used to get on-air plugs during continuity for "beeb.com" links for Top Gear/Gardeners' World, which always used to sit a bit awkwardly given it was a commercial site.

You one of those "Why doesn't anyone speak English properly" types then.
Apologies if I've missed something, but at the start of Goodnight Mr Tom (TX 10.25am Boxing Day) as well as the Subtitles caption on-screen there was also one for Audio Description in a speech bubble with AD written in it, how long have ITV been doing this?
