Its turns out that in 2009 Cosgrove Hall Films was closed down by ITV, and was absorbed into ITV

Is there going to be another series of TV Burp this autumn?

Probably. ITV hasn't had a good, original idea for Saturday night since ATV brought us the Muppets in 1977.

Not that it was ITV's (well ATV's) idea in the first place.

As for the rest of your statement, 'good' is subjective and 'original' depends on your definition - very few formats on TV in the last 30 years have been truely original.

It's probably because it is rubbish.

More specifically, it's on too long, really slow moving, there are not enough questions and the questions are too easy.

It's like they have looked at other game shows, identified what people dislike about them and then taken all those elements and put them all in one programme. Sob stories from The X-Factor, talking about answering the question for 2 minutes before actually answering the question from In It To Win It, meeting the contestants from everything made in the past 5 years etc.

This programme deserves to fail and ITV deserve the bad publicity that will come from refusing to pay out to the charities featured in the unbroadcast programmes before caving in and paying out anyway. Let this be a lesson to them. Make better programmes in future. I'll give it two more weeks.

ITV should bring back "Strike it Lucky" and just bump the prizes: Ie £50'000 Top prizes, etc, I bet it could be ratings winner:

anyway, does ITV go crappy format and dropped the half decent ones.

I couldn't see Strike it Lucky working. Half the show as about Michael Barrymore's banter with the contestants. The game itself lasted about 10 minutes.
