The only feasible Sunday schedule with DOI is:

17:30 News and Weather
18:00 Dancing on Ice
19:30 Coronation Street
20:00 Heartbeat
21:00 Dancing on Ice: The Skate Off
21:30 Kingdom
22:30 News

Or, possibly:

18:00 Dancing on Ice
19:30 Heartbeat
20:30 Dancing on Ice: The Skate Off
21:00 Kingdom
22:00 The Palace
23:00 News

I remain convinced that Coronation Street will disappear from Sunday nights and, as a satire, The Palace (rumoured for a Sunday night slot) would work well at 10pm.

Looks very credible to me for a Sunday.

They've put Corrie on at 8.30 twice and 8pm once this week - a mini-trial perhaps for a mon-fri 8.30 slot? It'd give the lead in to all the 9pm dramas Grade wants to push.

I think it's more likely that Heartbeat and Kingdom get moved to weeknight 8pm slots myself.

They often move Corrie around the schedules to boost ratings for the 9pm shows during the Christmas period. During weeks commencing Sunday 6th and 13th January at the moment its scheduled in all its usual slots, apart from an extra episode on Friday 11th at 8.30pm. Of course this is subject to change at the moment for week commencing 13th.

If Corrie were to lose an episode on Sundays then it would be more likely they would stick a double episode on Fridays - they could then either keep the Wednesday episode at 7.30pm or move it to 8.30pm. I dont mind if Corrie goes out at 7.30pm or 8.30pm as long as its not Mon-Fri as I prefer it like it is with no eps on Tues/Thurs.

IF - and it's a big if, the soaps did move on Sundays to make way for Dancing on Ice - I would be by the spring they'd be back as really ITV don't have anything else substantial to fill the slot for the rest of the year.

Messing though with their strongest night of the week is a very risky move though.

I agree, and with Dancing on Ice being such a ratings hit on Saturdays nights (im not sure of the figures but its been as big a hit as X Factor with viewers I think) im surprised they are moving it. Sundays generally do good in the ratings anyway with the soaps and 8pm drama followed by a film/drama at 9pm.

Looking at the ITV advance programme information (on the press site) for weeks 3 to 5 there are several new shows in weekday 10pm slots - so maybe we'll have to wait a bit longer for the new schedule and News at Ten.

It's being announced on Wednesday.

And the press site is currently showing 2007 info Wink

Actually - looks like the highlights are actually the early weeks of the 2007 schedule.

According to The Times, The Bill will go 4 nights a week at 8.30pm with a new spin-off hospital drama 8pm Wednesdays.

Disastrous The Bill is failing because it went out so often the quality suffered, I hope to God this isn't true.

God, the sub-headings in this thread are getting as bad as the headlines from the Daily Star.

The Bill - presumably in half hour slots, and a new hospital drama hardly say innovative and fresh.

If true though, would that leave Tuesday and Thursday at 8pm open for Corrie?

Everything I've heard over the last few days though suggests to me this relaunch will be undone quicker than you can say "Sky News".
