I'm sure Channel 4 have done a caption and an announcement for the likes of This is England '86 and Skins before.

Channel 4 also did it when Big Brother crossed the watershed too. When coming back from the first break after 9pm they would warn of strong language. Like others have said though, I've never seen ITV1 do it before although that may well be due to me hardly watching ITV1.

It's been done a handful of times - sometimes in Midsomer Murders where the afternoon repeats need signposting in a way they wouldn't in the evening, and just last week on the John Pilger documentary. Usually over an ident but if there's enough notice over an eop-of-part style graphic.

Today's Loose Women was made in 2011. The End Cap for ITV Studios had the wrong date shown

I don't think they've ever done that before, but I know Channel 4 have showed their long-version breakbumper to warn of flash photography, violence etc.

I have to say, The Savoy was a very good programme - I actually thought it was 3 episodes long, so I'm sad to hear tonights was the last one! The ratings seemed quite strong for it too, I wonder if they could come up with another series following the day-to-day events?

AFAIK it was originally scheduled for three eps, as the ITV Press Office said, but was edited down as it started a week later than originally planned.

I have to say it was a fascinating programme, I would love to see another series of this, albeit like 'Airport' just following the day to day runnings. There were some very funny characters such as the rather overtly camp head butler, he's on the way to be the Louis Spence of 2011!

The BBC made a hotel version of Airport in 97.

The renovation of The Savoy was interesting, I wasn't very impressed by the staff though. *

Slightly disappointed to see that (having missed it) The Savoy doesn't appear to be getting a repeat anytime soon. Isn't that what digital channels are for - repeating your main channel's output ad infinitum? Smile

I just saw Chris Tarrent getting his smile ready at the start of WWTBAM Live, I mean Live:WWTBAM.

Not sure if that bit was even live, maybe they just started the tape late.

EDIT: Chris Tarrent seems to be quite stressed tonight. I'm sure Chris Evans isn't helping matters. I wonder if the show will overrun, it may even underrun of course. It was lucky from a scheduling point of view that Chris Evans and James Martin did so poorly.

EDIT: Chris Tarrent does seem rather bad at presenting live television. Apart from the other live episode of WWTBAM, when did he last present anything live on television?

Today's Loose Women was once again credited as "© ITV Studios Limited, 2011" so slightly early!

I have 'Agatha Christie's Poirot' on at the moment and it seems ITV are showing ITV promos for ad's since 10pm and none of the 'real' adverts and nothing else, unless I keep missing them. They keep showing the 'That Was 2010' promo everytime which seems about 1min long.

I be honest this has to be one of the lowest paid days for adverts!
