Daytime Week 3:

2pm Wish You Were Here
3pm ???
4pm The Royal Today
4.30pm The Alan Titchmarsh Show
5pm Golden Balls

Maybe 3-4 will be CITV? Isnt that meant to be returning in the New Year?

I very much doubt that. ITV1 has had a more stable 2007 share-wise thanks to a revitalised daytime schedule, with the removal of CITV from afternoons.

I doubt it too. Its only a rumour CITV is returning.

I still think that they should return some form of CITV, but saying that, I'd much prefer that they'd put in the effort to the channel (which they are going to begin to do according to last weeks broadcast magazine), and make up the hours on ITV1 through weekend mornings (all morning - with exception for when F1 takes over sunday mornings), and bring back a Saturday morning programme.

Maybe they should also run childrens programmes for an hour during school holidays to take over from jeremy kyle for a week or two.

As for that weekday schedule. Why would Alan Titchmarsh be condensed to half an hour? Wouldn't it make more sense to have Titchmarsh at 3pm where he's established an audience and have a programme filling at 4:30? Couldn't they put Wish You Were Here at 4:30 as a half hour programme, especially if it's going out daily.

I would have expected Wish you were Here to be a half hour programme too and it would fit nicely into an hour long block with The Royal Today. A better schedule would be

2.00pm Classic Drama (Midsomer Murders etc)
3.00pm Alan Titchmarsh
4.00pm The Royal Today
4.30pm Wish You Were Here Today
5.00pm Golden Balls

I saw those last night. Very nice - I'm glad they're not sicking to that template for every show.

Looking forward to the new series of Primeval - I enjoyed the first series and got the DVD.

Echo Beach/Moving Wallpaper looks good as well.

Apparently daytime from 7th Janaury will run like this;

9.25 Jeremy Kyle
10.30 This Morning
12.30 Loose Women
13.30 Lunchtime News
14.00 A Touch of Frost
16.00 The Royal Today
16.30 Dickinson's Real Deal
17.00 Golden Balls

I think it would be better if they mixed together the live chat shows with the drama e.g.

09.25 Jeremy Kyle
10.30 This Morning
12.30 ITV Lunchtime News
13:00 A Touch of Frost
15:00 Loose Women / Daily Cooks
16.00 The Royal Today
16:30 Wish You Were Here / Real Deal
17.00 Golden Balls

Instead of live shows in the morning and drama / recorded shows in the afternoon.

So STV viewer will be losing Dickinson and it will look like this for all STV viewer:

16.00 The royal today
16.30 Golden balls
17.30 New 5.30pm show or in UTV live for UTV viewers!

No more news on the new schedules yet - with Christmas being over I can't see them dragging it out much longer!

The Week 3 schedules are up but very dubious - this is the week that supposedly was to herald News at Ten's return, but look at the programming so far:

Weekdays 2pm - Wish You Were Here (60 minutes)
Weekdays 4.30pm - The Alan Titchmarsh Show (from Friday!?!?!1 and 30 minutes - eh?)

Saturday 8pm - Primeval (60 minutes - no surprises here)
Sunday 9pm - The Palace (60 minutes - an eight part series, what about Kingdom, also due in Jan?)
Sunday 10pm - Thank God You're Here (60 minutes - wasn't this meant for Saturday?)
Monday 9pm - Trial and Retribution (90 minutes - conflicts with earlier reports that it was 60 minute episodes)
Wednesday 10pm - Sandbanks (30 minutes - means News at Ten surely cannot return here?)

Moving Wallpaper/Echo Beach reverts to Thursday nights at 9/9.30pm, having been on Thurs/Fri in the first week.

There is no information on Tuesday 9pm or Friday 9pm or the rest of the Saturday night shows, like Duel and Dancing on Ice(?), so there's hope the schedules could still move to make way for News at Ten, when these are added.

I think its safe to say that News At Ten does not return that week then?

I agree with Pad - this is a very dubious schedule. I think this will almost certainly be significantly revised shortly, no doubt to additionally accommodate the return of News at Ten in Week 3.

Tickets for Dancing on Ice are being sold for 11th, 13th and 20th January, Last two are Sundays and i'm guessing the first is a run through of the real show, to get the contestants used to the atmosphere.
Supposedly Sundays will look like this:
18:00 Coronation Street Family Album
18:30 News & Weather
19:00 Emmerdale
19:30 Coronation Street
20:00 Dancing on Ice
21:00 Heatbeat
22:00 Dancing on Ice: The Skate Off
22:30 Kingdom
23:30 News

But i'd say more like this:
18:00 Coronation Street Family Album
18:30 News & Weather
19:00 Coronation Street
19:30 Dancing on Ice
21:00 Heatbeat
22:00 Dancing on Ice: The Skate Off
22:30 Kingdom
23:30 News

If itv move DOI to Sundays they are smart by putting it after Corrie which gets 9M+.
