Ze Promo DOG is back

Yeah I noticed that too - so the colour goes and then we end up with a bigger dog! Looked stupid on the right hand side as when the credits came on and promo's for other shows was on, half of the text was cut out on the white background.

This may have been asked years ago, already, but....

How can they fill between 40 and 45 mins with All Star Family Fortunes?

I know that there are currently 2 commercials breaks now but they have 1 question less and its no longer first family to the 500 mark!!!

Taking into account 2x4 mins commercial breaks and normally starts about 2 to 3 minutes late that takes out of the equation 11 mins but the old format was only 21/22 mins in length (excluding commercials) and had 5 questions.

All the chats and VT's of the families at the start - at a guess.

The VT bits, yep could agree to a point but even the old format had chats at the beginning and when going down the families for answeers and the old format even had more on-the spot prizes which took time away from teh game, compared to the new version!

It's all filler isn't it. Many a good show has been ruined in recent years by efforts to stretch them out usually towards an hour, when in a tighter 30-minute slot they'd flow much better. In Family Fortunes case, axing the fifth question was ridiculous. It's just lazy editing really.

Couldn't help but notice, but how long has there been a mini ITV Sport ident on trailers for Sport? In the style of the Drama Premieres one too, looked pretty good.

I think a few weeks - seems to have replaced the "We are football united" thing.

With the launch of ITV2 HD, to me it seems the DOGs across the ITV channels are a lot brighter. Compare the ITV1HD DOG on the Daybreak cap from 7th September with the second image from the 6th October:

A bit of a shame, but I suppose they did it to keep it uniform with the sister channels.

Something of a rarity these days - a new ITV drama series get's a second run.

Downton Abbey renewed for 8 more episodes.

Quick question: I happened to catch the end of Friday's Corrie on Channel Television. I noticed the end credits feature URLs for itv.com, stv.tv and u.tv - is this always done across the whole itv network or only in the channel television region?
