I don't mind ITV2 having a slanted logo, however I still don't like the 3D effect they've used, could be a lot more subtle and less garish/metallic-esque.

I agree, they could actually make something of it. It could animate in a 3D way during idents & promos similar to Fiver's package, and then also appear in 2D form for multi channel lay outs, etc. I think they could utilise the design and idea more and also up date the package but not lose the idea of it being different.

Thanks for that, Andrew. Were they as unbelievably lazy as to not update the trails to the post-rebrand look or was the previous style promo at the start of the above clip unintentional too?

Not to mention that's a 16:9 DOG on a 4:3 picture.

Unfortunately, I couldn't easily keep the aspect ratio change as broadcast. The Survival titles were broadcast 4:3. The MPEG2 file is 17MB if anyone desperately wants it.
