It really isn't good, it's a gimmick (especially calling it the hub) and I don't see it lasting.
To be fair though considering their fascination with twitter it's a natural development - and of course I'm sure they'll be a premium line you can leave your thoughts on too!
Hmm I think it actually adds a barrier to the interactivity road they're trying to go down. At the moment Phil reads his tweets directly. But now they want to have a generic presenter reading generic messages from a gimmicky place called the Hub. But then I'm not always a member of the daytime TV audience so who knows...
I noticed ITV have started using less of their branding in promos
Care to elaborate on that?
Like on the promos for quite a few programmes, I've noticed the end looks more personalised with a small "ITV1" logo beneath, instead of going to the end screen with all the ITV branded stuff

Actually I'd say the opposite.
Corrie still has a special end cap, and Downton Abbey and Paul oGrady Live have special endcaps, but apart from that they don't seem to do specials. They don't even use the special football endcap any more, also they seem to have the ITV1 logo on during the promo itself more, including on special made promos like the Paul oGrady one.
Anyone think showing the trailer for 71 Degree's North straight after X factor saying "A brand new series - Next" was a bit strange? Surely not showing it and getting the programme on quicker to capture some of X Factor's audience would have been better?

I see, I saw it on a couple and thought it was a new thing
71 Degrees North - I only just realised it was a reality show
Just got back from seeing a recording of the Christmas special of All Star Family Fortunes and a regular episode of the show. This morning were and Emmerdale were on the Christmas one and Gino Di Campo and Coronation Street were on the other one. They gave us Christmas hats and everything!
