I have a horrible feeling ITV have stopped using the Lanterns ident.

It had become their standard News ident, but recently they have been using Sunflowers before any News programme!

Lanterns was my fave ident both because it was so well made and had a lovely piece of music, and of course ITV wimp out and stop using it Sad Rolling Eyes

Whats happened to the dodgems ident, I very rarely see it. I occasionally see the dodgems bumper, but it is always stretched. Confused

Yes I often wonder why they hardly ever use the ident, and when they do its squashed into a movie style aspect ratio. Very weird.

Only ever seen Dodgems before Britain's Got Talent - wouldn't be surprised if it's used for The X Factor too.

Lanterns popped up before Corrie just now, so its still in use.

Good. Afterall it's just an ident, not a party political broadcast.

So glad its still being used. Its my fave ident.

Just confused as to why they stopped using it as their News ident.

Sounds stupid, but I preferred the pavement one

Was something postponed last Sunday to make ITV show The Man With The Golden Gun twice in one week?

They seem to be doing it with all of the Bond films they are showing on a Sunday afternoon. This is inline with what they do with films on there digital channels, showing them 2 or 3 times within a week. ITV also did this a few years ago when they were showing film premieres.

I wonder if they basically get a cut price or even free airing by repeating them within a certain period of their original showing.

From 2008, a little inspiration, perhaps?
