the news at 06.30 is not moving as stv is about to start a new 5.30pm show

I can't see them moving the news back to 5:30. I know it was around that time on both ITV1 and BBC1 in the 70s/80s (well - 5:40), but that's abit early for most people to be home from work these days.

Emmerdale at 6:30 would also be too early. Hollyoaks has its target audience at that time and Emmerdale would be challenging that.

Odd scheduling of Moving Wallpaper and Echo Beach, though I thought they were 60 minutes each - clearly not, but it makes more sense.

I thought MW and EB was going to be 1 hour each as well. Also I didnt expect 2 episodes of each show per week.

I imagine the two episodes are for the first week only - though remember that's still only a provisional schedule.

I knew though they'd be 30 minutes long - the original plan was to have one on ITV1 at 10pm then the soap at 10.30pm on ITV2.

I'm not convinced that the scheduling of MW and EB will work this way long term - perhaps the eventual plan is to have the first at 9.30pm, with the second following the new News at Ten?

I can't see the logic in them doing that really.

ITV have made a classic mistake here really by promoting a series intended as a spin-off to the main channel. The actual episodes of "Echo Beach" were original meant as little more than an extra really, with Moving Wallpaper being the main series.

As I said before I think ITV risk devaluing them both by putting them on air together.

Let's hope ITV's press listings are a bit wrong then.

According to the TV Times Goldenballs is a repeat on the 2ndJanuary. So a new series will probably start on the 14th.

As far as Sandbanks it is mentioned here http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=694200

Piers Morgan visits the Monte Carlo of Britain on the Dorset Coast.

Oh dear - I hope we dont get a Friday 8.30pm episode as a regular thing. During 2007 they only had 1 Friday 8.30pm episode all year (which was the episode where Tracy killed Charlie in January) compaired to 2006 where were often got them.
