Where's the information from? Interesting that they've decided to public all information for the full year, very random to. Which programmes are actually in the winter schedule?

I know what you mean about ITV1's identity Pad. I think the problem with the non idents of ITV1 is the use of just black, it's the same with ITV2 & white, ITV2 looked much better with the mixed green idents & presentation. ITV1 could do with creating an identity similar to the old ITV Day idents with yellows, oranges & some reds, to tie in with the yellow, brighten it up from the black & doing something a bit different from just using yellows & golds.

Must say watching ITV2 the other night for The Xtra Factor and I was actually rather impressed with an ident - think it was a street scene with lots of lights around - much better than most of the ITV2 collection. Though pres wise they screwed things up with the credit, using the full screen credits, but the full screen promo caption too - so we basically had a white screen with a green box promoting something on and then a black strip across the bottom with just The X Factor URL.

According to DigiGuide, the Tonight programme returns on Thursday 7th January at 7.30 (between two Emmerdale episodes) - with a documentary called "The Lakes" on Monday 4th, and CountryWise on Friday 8th taking the programme's old slots.
Also, Dancing on Ice is scheduled for Friday 8th at 9pm for an hour - although there is no description yet.

ITV1 is currently showing the film Curly Sue in 4x3. Confused

Would it really kill them to ask the film company for a 2.39:1 ( not 16x9 thank you) copy? Not really criticising ITV but it seems so odd to show a 4x3 version of a film in this day and age. Confused

Krpyton Factor moving to Tuesdays too. Shame Tonight is losing one of it's 8pm slots though - it got over 4.5m last night.

I assume as the show is ad-funded (well, the first series at least was paid for by SAGE, rather than ITV), STV practically get it for free?

ITV1 just aired their Christmas promo complete with last years Christmas pres.. so it looks like it's last years idents for ITV1 soon.

I won't complain though as ITV didn't bother for 3 years until last year and they were quite nice anyway.

Just mentioned this on the DS Christmas Idents thread. I don't mind as the ident really was lovely. I didn't even mind the music Razz

One way to bump up ITV's Christmas Day line-up would be to put the Royal Variety on in the evening, I don't know why they wouldn't.
