lol, thank you ITV's chief scheduler.

Please explain the point of that comment, and while you're at it how it's even funny if you were trying to take the p*ss. Do you have some sort of vendetta against me now? Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

The missing slot? There is no missing slot! lol this would simply be moving Corrie from 7.30 to 8.30pm basically meaning anything at 8.00pm now would go out at 7.30pm.

The Bill would be one hour obviously 7.30 to 8.30 with Corrie afterwards.

Would the bill work at 7.30pm - 8.30pm?

Don't see why not - it goes out in this slot over Christmas this year on Thursday.

Sorry, the Wednesdays.

But the relaunch isn't due to happen until the new year anyway.

They did that over Christmas last year though having Corrie at 8.30pm with The Bill at 7.30pm. It all returned to normal in January this year with Corrie at 7.30pm again. So dont bank on Corrie moving to 8.30pm permanently.

There is a lot of talk about it right now, much more than in the past, so I would 'bank' on there being more chance than ever before of it happening!

If we could be bothered I'm sure we could dig up all those articles from last year too.

Admittedly I (like many others) were wrong to scoff at the rumours regarding News at Ten - but this rumour has cropped up so many times before everytime ITV need to overhaul their schedules (so pretty much annually!) - and it's always misinformed journalists speculating rather than researching.

In fact nowadays many rumours of this nature start on forums like this, get reprinted in the press - and then end up back on the forums as fact!
