I've just seen a promo for a cop show, and the endboard was missing something. The 1 from the ITV1 logo was missing.

Earlier in the trailer there were some "police tape"-style graphics matched to the colours of the ITV1 logo. What is the likelihood of them having produced a "generic" trailer in the hope that STV and UTV will use it?

ITV confirm Holly Willoughby as new This Morning host

Former children's TV presenter Holly Willoughby has been confirmed as the new co-host of ITV1's This Morning. She will take over from Fern Britton, who leaves the flagship daytime show later this week.

I did like the trailer style with the black & yellow tape and black & white vehicles, thought it would make an interesting presentation style for idents. Saying that it would look a bit similar to FX.

I think the most likely (and most boring) reason for the lack of the '1' is that someone forgot to key in the animation. I would have thought UTV and especially STV would want to use their own trails/endboards as per usual.

As an aside, it really does demonstrate how poor the current ITV logo is on its own. Very flat.

The '1' has now been reinstated on the cop show trailer, in case anyone's interested.

would be intresting if it is true. Along with BGT, The X Factor, Dancing on Ice there would be a ratings hit most Saturday nights.

I wonder where it could go in the scedules - mabye a summer reality show? ( athough i think from ITV perspctive it would be better placed mabye between the end of Dancing on Ice and the start of BGT as in the summer it could flop , I'm not sure about the dates thought!

Definitely a night for over dramatic storylines (Corrie, Emmerdale) to boost the new schedules.

Basically just a confirmation of ITV's autumn line-up, Benidorm will return as one hour episodes and the good News that TV Burp and Harry Hill will be back on ITV1.

Having now watched Emmerdale I felt their dramatic storyline was far far better than Corrie's last night.

Watching Real Crime yesterday - "The Man Who Didn't Cry". Athough it looked like an old version, it had © 2009 at the end, but Mark Austin wasn't presenting it - has he been dropped?

Although next week Real Crime: Tesco Bomber he is presenting it , although i think this may is a repeat.
