A nostalgic moment on ITV1 just now: the classic 'LW' LWT ident shown before the episode of Doctor in Charge at 11.20pm. I didn't think ITV would have shown any ident these days on 1, but it was good to see.

I've only seen that happen on The Big Match Revisited on ITV4.

Still rather interesting though.

They usually keep the frontcaps on TBMR on ITV4, even when they show other programmes such as Granada's Kick Off Match.

When they repeated The New Statesman on ITV1 late last year they kept the YTV Liquid Gold frontcap on. I don't think they do with On The Buses and Rising Damp, but I think these have been "modified" as they've been shown regularly during the 1990's, as there was an episode of OTB on ITV3 not too long ago that had a 1989 'LWT Production for ITV' on the end.

So, The Fuse then... what a load of rubbish.

Austin Healy is possibly the worst gameshow host I've ever seen. Very wooden, lots of awkward pauses, and as for the contestants... they all seemed to have the intelligence of a biscuit.

It beggars belief sometimes. Former RUGBY PLAYER Austin Healy.. hosting a gameshow. I mean what next? Rolling Eyes

He was an awful host - but I didn't think the format was that bad. Not that original, but better than most - and with a better host and the problems ironed out, it could have a future.

Out of the three recent game shows though Divided has been the best - but I fear ITV will axe it and opt for more Chaser and Fuse as they're both in-house productions.

Well anyone can do a loose woman; but would you want to?

Thank you, no.

The subscription model for ITV 2, 3 and 4 chatter grew a notch today ...

"We believe ITV is differentiated from its peers by potential upside from the adoption of a subscription model. Our analysis suggests foregone advertising revenues would be more than offset by carriage fees from pay TV retailers," UBS writes.

thought people may be intrested in this

alos there hasn't been any promo's for the change for Corrie & Emmerdale. Although it has been on GMTV ,Newspapers ect , I think it wouldn't hurt for them to make a promo advertising the changes.
