I doubt it, unless they move the evening News and put Golden Balls at 6.30pm for an hour, followed by Emmerdale at 7.30pm and then Corrie at 8.30pm.
I have every confidence the new schedules will work out for ITV, they have been in the works for well over a year now apparently, and as such have been kept a tight commercial secret.
Mr Grade has said that the late news is not all that will move "you don't just move one part of the schedule and expect everything to fall into place - this is part of a much bigger move" - his words.
I am now pretty sure that there will be a lot of shuffling between 7pm and 10.30pm on the channel, but I have every confidence in Grade who was the man, after all, who successfully revamped the BBC1 schedule in his tenure there, moving stuff about.
That was a success and I can see this being one too. If CS moves to 8.30pm, I can see ITV1 putting a lot of power in the early evening schedule to keep it going, but I would think ITV are, if this is true, banking on 8.30pm onwards being the strongest part of the schedule, with Corrie at 8.30pm, the Dramas at 9pm and the News at Ten.
It's all up in the air though and this could all be much more different than we have anticipated - I do however think there will be changes and they will be marked. There are a LOT of shows on the books for January and even more in February, I've tried to work out how it will all fit but quite simply I can't - the slots are being overhauled and quite what this means remains a mystery as nearly every viable option leaves questions about the BBC's schedule coming to light.
Time will tell and we will know soon.

Stupid!
itv must now found 5 30mins programmes at week: or 1 hour show from 7.30 = 8.30?, which means Emmerdale may move!
this what ITV must Remember: where would you put the bill? 9pm? and all that other ITV show
