Problem being that Michael Grade was damned from the start of his reign as ITV are still suffering from the hangover that was Charles Allen and his disastrous efforts in creating a rival to Sky!

Isn't it funny how CA is now in charge of a Radio group and is doing the exact same mistakes in creating a antional network from former regional stations (regional stations with a strong regional ident and now losing listeners left right and centre because of networked shows that do not appeal to many of the regional listeners)

Top managers don't seem to stay in jobs more than a few months these days. They seem to come in, b****r things up, then move on...

... with a healthy pay-off!

I was shocked to hear that Susan Boyle has been making headlines in the US, appearing on all the main news programmes and late night talk shows, who would have expected that?

Thanks to the good people at South Park, I think my opinion can be described in this video on the Sky News Website

According to TVNewser Amanda Holden has is going to be co-hosting the 8am hour of the CBS Early Show on the Monday after the BGT Final - who would have expected that?!

I am really sad that they have axed The Royal and Heartbeat. For almost 7 years I have watched The Royal and loved it! Such a shame!

Well officially they're not axed - just on hiatus while a back log of episodes play out over the next year or so - but it would be surprising if production were to resume. I think with Heartbeat especially it has run it's course and it's already been stuck in 1969 for about a decade. If it were to return the best option would probably be for a spin-off moving it on to the 70's.

Is it me or did Britains got talent work extremely well with four judges???
I thought kelly brook was awesome and there was sooo much more atmosphere on the judging panel. I hope she is drafted in the judge with the others on the live shows as then the judges don't vote (yes or no) they only use the buzzers.
plus she was pretty hot...!!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

It wasn't as disastrous as they made out, but was an unnecessary addition really. Her asking the drummer in front of his drum kit what he's be doing though is exactly the sort of thing she got slated for ten years ago on The Big Breakfast.

I found her irritating and in her own 'happy clappy' world.

That was strange. An advert just got announced with an ITV1 ident. Hey Jude in Trafalgar Square for T-Mobile to be precise.

It's not the first time it's been done like that. It was done for the other T-Mobile ad and the Honda skydiving live ad.
