ITV1's 'Brighter side of Life' promo was just boringly woeful, for a start I didn't even know that it was for ITV1 til the end. Fits in with their current idents.

And it's a rather pointless waste of money, seeing as at this rate they will be bust.

No ident changes or even a DOG as bad as that would be.

Did they really need a bit of expensive propoganda?

Oh I thought there was some nice music through it but then it turned out that was from a tab I just opened.

So with no music its very dull.

ITV1 + dullness, never! Laughing

TBH it looks more like an advert for Powergen or Legal & General

There is piano music - but it's dull.

Worthy but dull is how I would describe it. Thought it was leading to some sort of grand climax but it was all a bit meh in the end.

What a load of old rubbish? The bright side of ITV? Hundreds of people made redundant, well loved programmes and personalities axed, Mr Michael Grade throwing an axe around and middle managers claiming regional news cuts with new massive super regions will provide a better service for loyal viewers? Get a grip and get lost ITV.

Yeh, really they should just crawl up and die - in the process making thousands of people redundant, well loved programmes and personalities taken off the air, Michael Grade with no axe to throw around and there being no middle managers not doing much at all apart from being down the dole office.

Yeh, I like it.

Surely they should have just done lots of clips from their shows? At least it would be relevant. I don't understand the point of that trailer - it tells me nothing about the channel. It's incredibly bland - much like ITV1 itself. What happened to the big, bold ITV of old? Where the focus was on entertaining the nation, not silly little ads where kids dance about in the sun. Gawd.
