Anyone remember the plan to give each genre a 'sub-brand'?

Seems they've decided not to go down that route, unless the names are only used behind the scenes?
Quote:
ITV managing director of global content Lee Bartlett will restructure ITVP's divisions by next April, creating sub-brands designed to give external customers a clearer indication of their remits.
Each new division will come up with a Dave-style name preceded by ITV - for example, ITV Laugh to cover entertainment and comedy. The plan is to break up what Bartlett described as "the ITVP monolith".

I'm not that keen on it, it just seems a bit random. I don't think there's any particular idea behind it, just something that looks 'nice'.
I would have liked to see the studios text animating at least, perhaps the itv logo in the centre, moving back and to the left revealing the 'studios' text. Perhaps with some nice lighting/shadow effects.

Well, this is a bit like when LWT, about a decade ago, launched LWT Productions, so their programmes ended with an "LWTP" end board, followed by the standard LWT logo referring to it as An LWT Programme (not Production) for ITV. So it was an LWT Production for LWT.

I dare say there have a stock pile of episodes, also if there axing why cut it to 3 per week?
there would be smarter to fill 2 per week with repeats

I imagine that is what they will do.
