I'll reserve judgement until I see it in use regularly but I'm not liking the usage of the term 'studios' at all. This isn't the USA, 'Productions' or 'A --- Production' has been the way things are done in the UK for years and I can't see the point in changing, at least for domestic usage.
I'm not too keen on the ITV Studios name but as long as we're rid of that god awful ITV Productions end cap it can only be a good thing. I really like the design.
Its a step in the right direction for ITV graphics. All they need to do now is to construct another graphics package that looks just as good as that end slide. Small things make a big difference.
I was just thinking to myself about the butch deep-ish continuity announcer for itv1....I'm sure it JON DAVIS from Sky Sports News...i've heard both voices....very similar in my opinion....what do you think?
Well the blob looks ridiculous. What is it meant to symbolise exactly?? As far as I can tell, it doesn't mean anything - it's just a random blob
It's probably not meant to be anything, anymore than the first TSW ident was - although it didn't stop people claiming to have worked it out.
