Yeah it is, just didn't think they did all in one shows on things like DOI and X Factor

Not usually. They did it for DOI last year as a last-minute scheduling change and it happened to work in their favour as the ratings were the highest they've ever been, so I assume that's why they've replicated it this year - plus they don't really have anything to fill the usual gap as Wild at Heart finished last week.

It does seem a strange decision considering splitting it in two would allow them to pack more ads around one of the highest ratings programmes of the year.

A very ugly ITV Studios endcap was just shown at the end of the Dancing on Ice final.

That was bad wasn't it. Like a bad mock totally out of the FX box.

Just seen the new ITV Studios endcap - very neat and far far far superior to the old ITV Productions end-cap.

But still agree with previous 2 posts!!!!!

Would still prefer to see the old ATV "eys" ident as the main ITV logo (although I am an old Granada-ite).

Same here - and although simple, far better than just using the standard format with the standard font.

I agree. Too simple, dreary and very unimaginative.

What was wrong with "ITV Productions" in the first place, anyway?

Lettering is better but the animation/blob is just odd. Although the ITV Productions one wasn't the best design, at least the animation "revealed" the lettering, and often fitted in with the ending of some programmes' theme music.
