It's for failing to meet their "out of London" production quota - and strangely STV, UTV and Channel have been fined for it too.

It's a quota for the whole network and CTV, UTV and STV show the same networked programmes. Although they aren't really to blame for it as the other 3 don't get much of a look in in terms of network scheduling and commissioning

STV does seem to be opting out a bit more of late, I do remember before xmas the stuck there fingers up at ITV and broadcast something else.

STV got fed up waiting for itv to found a slot of this programme ( 18 month wait! )

ITV Wales seem to be opting out again for regional programming although I wish they wouldnt opt out of stuff I watch like The Krypton Factor (from next week) and Dexter.

Well HTV Wales started off showing Dexter for the first 2 episodes of season 2 like the rest of the ITV regions and now appear to have dropped it.

stv did actually show the first episode of the new series on the 8th of January, at the same time as the network. Nothing else after that though.

I apologise, 623. It was listed in DigiGuide as being on at 10.40 on the 8th. Obviously not.

Didn't STV already broadcast Dexter? Or is this the second season now?

Have ITV added some sort of sound effect to the skyscraper ident or was that just a technical mistake?! It was like a whooshing noise as all the flappy yellow things start flapping! Very Happy

I'm sure it has always had it in, but ITV announces just come in strait away and you don't notice it.
