At least ITV showed On The Buses unbutchered, I was dreading it was going to be cropped or have the new end credits, but it was in good old 4:3!

It didn't have an LWT endcap though. When they were shown on Men and Motors last, some episodes had LWT at the end, some didn't. Not sure why.

I noticed that, but the episode was from 1970, so that would have meant that LWT would have been using the pound coin London Weekend logo, which isn't on TV too often.

I mentioned when they were showing On The Buses on ITV3 not too long ago, they either didn't have any endcaps, the original London Weekend stripe endboard, one episode even had an LWTP endcap, so I guess they may have been meddled with at some point, probably in the early 1990's.

The Children is a superb drama on ITV1. Anyone watched it. It's really very good.

Unfortunately if it were on BBC One it'd be getting 1-2 million more methinks! ITV is hated by the public.

Hmmm let me think why.....

most people I talk to belive that ITV just no longer consider them when making programmes - not even the lowest common demoninator - its all about money and shareholders nowadays.

ITV IS the scurge of broadcasting - the sooner they realise that the better but I fear it is now far too late to resucitate it completely! Even Sky's entertainment channels are considered better than ITV!!!!!!

Sky's entertainment channels are considered better than ITV. I take it that this is the joke of the day?

And if it was on BBC2 or Channel 4 it'd be getting about 2 million less. It's just how the heirachy of channels works

There seems to be new 'Next Time' and 'Previously' straps now, instead of the blue stripes.

I saw. It's better than the blue bars but to be honest that semi-transparent black strap is not necessary, and too tall.

So ITV have moved one of the X Factor bootcamp shows to Sunday because the BBC was trying a head-on clash with Strictly.

Apparently Simon vetoed a move to pre record the results for a Sunday night slot. Good move. It'd suck.

I can start watching next week I guess then if we're on to Boot Camp, though from the bits I've fast forwarded through in previous shows I can't say there has been anyone at all who really stands out so far.

There have been quite a few, although most are girls and they could probably fill the entire top 12 with girls. Only Rachel (the jail bird from the first episode) stands out in any other categories, I've not seen any men I've liked at all. The odd group have been good but no memorable ones.

I know the judges and categories have been confirmed through spoilers (please don't post them here) but I can't help but think that Cheryl has the girls. I think this because they focus on the girls a lot and they focus on Cheryl a lot, maybe to get Cheryl to win?

I think last year the judges homes episodes was across Saturday and Sunday. I think its a good idea to have 1 boot camp episode on a Sunday.
