At the beginning where they were showing how many people were playing on the map, when they got to Manchester one of the hosts said "Lots of people playing in Manchester, where we are"

It will be a pretty dark map in Scotland I would expect

Is that Nicola Dixon as in ex-BBC North West Today Weather presenter Nicola Dixon?

Another Ofcom complaint was just aired (before the ident this time!) regarding the phone-in scandals. Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway and Gameshow Marathon were both mentioned.

Nice to hear "LWT Limited" as well!

Breakdown just before the end of This Morning just then.

Screen flickered to black then the plain black background ITV1 appeared along with some music afterwards.

Then straight to adverts as I suspect the show was about to end anyway.

It appears Southern Transmission Centre is off air, so I guess Central is sort of unaffected since you guys are played out from Leeds. ITV1 London Analogue is showing Loose Women though.

Well the Central South region still comes from Southern Transmission Centre even if we are in Central West territory or Thames Valley territory.

STV showed there "Sorry" slide, then adverts, then a bit of Moviejuice Moments, with that being cut off and straight to Loose Women, without sponsor advert - that was also cut out during the first break.

On my tri to Gas St. it said on this box with lotsof buttons "LEEDS NTC"

My understanding is all the Central sub-regions come from Leeds, including the ex-Central South area which is now Central West, even though Central South was more 'southern' than it is 'northern'. I remember it being said back when Thames Valley Tonight launched that transmission from the transmitter had to be switched from Leeds to London.

But its the fact that the Central South advertising region still exists.

Therefore our part of Central comes from London where the proper West (pre-2006) and East regions come from Leeds.
