Put The Telly On
I remember his appearance on Question Time boasting how he'd been hanging out with Boris Johnson and David Cameron the night before. Hypocrite.

Melinda Messenger and Michael Underwood will present "Bingo Night Live", it starts with a jackpot of £25,000 on Wednesday.

Here's all the blurb on the show from itv :

Quote:
TV favourites, Melinda Messenger and Michael Underwood are set to present the brand new ‘Bingo Night Live’ – a free to play bingo game show launching Wednesday, 4th June on ITV1.

UK viewers can play bingo for free for the chance to win hundreds of cash prizes. Broadcast live after midnight on ITV1, 5 nights a week from Tuesday to Saturday, Bingo Night Live will bring a whole new dimension to the nation’s favourite game with viewers playing from their homes for no cost at all!

The one hour show will mix free-to-play bingo with entertainment with 3 main bingo games each night and ‘Golden Jackpot’ prize money starting at £25,000 on launch night! There will be additional cash prizes to win with the extra games ‘Magic Numbers’ and ‘Minute to Win It’ which run between the main bingo games.

Free to play, bingo lovers can register and obtain their nightly playing bingo cards for free by going onto www.itv.com/bingonightlive from Monday, 2nd June.

Bingo Night Live boasts the biggest Bingo set on television – all designed to give ITV1 viewers all the entertainment, tension and drama you’d expect from a great game of Bingo – but all in the comfort of your own home.

During each game the numbers drawn will show up on the large ‘Wall of Numbers’ and marked as they are called by Michael Underwood. To keep viewers in the know with all the facts about who’s playing and of course, who’s winning, will be Bingo Night Live’s statistician controller Nichola Dixon who, with her interactive map of the UK will have player statistics, lucky star signs, facts and figures literally at her fingertips.

Mr T
In have to say that i think it is a marked improvement on what they had before but i agree i think it just needs some tweaks to make it exactly right. I do agree with the size of the itv1 logo it needs to be a little smaller just not as small as the bottom left ones. And i totally agree with the idents too. I think they should change that dreadful music and perhaps revert back to the original idea with different music for different programmes.

Noticed earlier on that Tonight has lost its nice new animated background on its credits to be replaced by.....black. Exciting!

Seems like black is the new blue bars.

I noticed on BGMoreTalent this..

I wonder if this is an alternative style

I see that the rounded edges and moving vertical yellow stripes elements have now disappeared from all aspects of ITV presentation. The yellow stripes were OK, but the rounded edges adopted for the IPPs and the credit promos in Corrie and Emmerdale looked terrible.

The colour black has always been an option for end credits, but the corporate blue seems to have been preferred for in-house productions until now. I always thought the black looked better when the screen is split - the half black and half blue backgrounds didn't look as smooth and integrated. But now they may have gone too far - with some ECPs having no other colour on screen bar black and white when they are promoting ITV.com

I noticed that ITV have followed Sky with US imports - on Pushing Daisies last week (before the other pres changes has even been implemented), there was no ITV "Pushing Daisies" captions between the programme and the Toblerone sponsorship bumber going into or coming back from the commercials.

I also see that programme menus seem to be back in fashion again. it won't last Smile

And any new idents that don't feature yellow and or flowers would be most welcome...

The idea of the ITV logo opening up, which was dropped after the first set of idents, is now back in fasion, with the ITV logo opening on the endboards and the IPPs.

I wonder if by specifying black for everything, ITV can now select the transparent column effect live as the programme goes out?
