I don't think it'll be a rehash of the ITV Morning News. I think it'll be a clearer split. GMB News may be a pure bulletin with the 6.30-9 slot focused more on interviews, analysis etc.
GMB News at 6.00am followed by Piers and Susanna at 6.30 - this would mean they might use a different desk or sofa area for the 30 minute news, if GMB will produce it and it is not an ITN production?
I don't know tbh. Quick if stupid question. Who provides the news for GMB. Is it ITV News/ITN or someone else a'la TVAM?
Hang on, are ITV considering bringing back the Morning News, which they axed in 2012? They axed it for a reason, it was a pointless bulletin, I don't see how it being at 6.00am will do any good if they are thinking of bringing it back. Just what ITV need, a repackaged News at Ten bulletin from the previous night at 6.00am.
