I just wish I could get an extra £150k for an extra 30mins of work.

If you fronted a show that stood to generate millions more in advertising per year due to that extra 30 minutes, you probably would.

That's not to mention the amount that ITV stand to save by not producing a replacement for Jeremy Kyle.

Is this actually confirmed this time, as I’ve got deja-vu?

Paper announces new schedule, people here discuss the loss of the 9:25 junction and how it effects STV. Nothing actually happens, rinse and repeat.

AFAIK, there hasn't been an official announcement from ITV, so based on that, nothing is confirmed yet, and an article from a tabloid newspaper with no official source should be taken with a pinch of salt.

I wasn’t saying they shouldn’t have the money I was just shock by how much 30 mins can get you and wish I was in that line of work.

If you are shocked by that, some of the US morning anchors are reported to have negotiated deals of ~US$25m/year (Matt Lauer before he was fired is one)

Well they got more than a million people watching so that don’t surprise me.

Holly and Phil are valuable to ITV so it's no surprise they'll get a pay bump in exchange for doing more work on This Morning.

Never said they weren’t valuable or worth it.

I’d like to imagine someone from The Sun got the story from TV Forum, creating a never-ending circle of schedule speculation from which we cannot escape.

That half hour at 6.00am is not needed, it should simply be GMB from 6.00am until 9.00am.

Considering the numerous posts over the years if people moaning about GMB not starting their headlines at 6.01 due yo Oiers rants arguably a 6am bulletin is needed. I'm sure it'll be GMB branded and hosted by Charlotte or the days notice.
