I just wish I could get an extra £150k for an extra 30mins of work.

That half hour at 6.00am is not needed, it should simply be GMB from 6.00am until 9.00am.

There should have brought back the 09.25 Gameshow slot for and had 35mins of Win lose or draw, Lucky laddies or Keynotes

Going from 0630 to 0900 will increase GMB's ratings as 6am always drags the average. It's Lorraine at 9am I'm unsure about because it does benefit being at 0830.

According to the sun from January 2020 this morning will be on for an extra 30mins.

6:30am Good Morning Britain
9:00am Lorraine
10:00am This Morning
12:30pm Loose Women

An extended news update is rumoured for 6:00am.

If this is true, I'm guessing ITV will have reached an agreement with STV, and that there will be an advert break at 9:25am for the "handover"

I wonder if this will mean that STV viewers will see an ITV DOG for the first half of Lorraine, and an STV DOG for the second half, or if the STV branding will be delayed until 10am.

Well Piers Morgan contract is up at the end of the year so it will come down to what deal they can make with him. Love him or hate him he is a big part of GMB at the moment.

STV will not care as long as there is ad break at 09.35 and STV get it, It also means STV first Ident will be 10am,

Remember this is weekdays only, on top of that LWT and Thames had Home and away crossing the handover from 1989 until Sept 1992.

Will see if this happens - didn't The Mirror report a similar extension which was due to start in September.

If they do go down this route I'd actually end This Morning at 12.15 and although not a fan, I think Loose Women could probably fill an extra 15 minutes. Not sure though if bringing it's start time in line with Bargain Hunt on BBC would be a pro or a con.

Moving GMB later will certainly boost it's ratings, and I suspect it's a sign that ITV are keen to keep Piers. A bit of a shame to see the 9.25 junction absorbed, but if they're not replacing Jeremy Kyle this does make sense.

Loose Women has had 75 minute editions before so it can fill it but I suspect they value This Morning as a brand than LW

If only they had just made a new series of an iconic show that used to be in that slot...

What are the ratings for the rugby games that have displaced This Morning, compared with TM's usual figures?
