Bring back the Now very thin (ok then…. still tubby) Vanessa. She could stir up sex, Lie detector tests and ‘who’s the Father’ shows for ITV1 Mornings.

I say "Bring Back Bob Mills" and Win Lose or Draw!!!! He was a hell of a lot more entertaining than Trisha. She has had that slot now for about 5 years or something and it is well time she is pushed away to a graveyard slot during the night.

What does everyone else think???

Yes please! I'd kill to go back to the days of Crosswits and Win Lose or Draw.

Well I'd go even further and bring back ITV Schools...

In fact, let's sod it. Get rid of ITV and install a test tone and pretty colours.

this looks good, and where has Kate McIntyre gone from I want that House! i know shes been doing some work for CiTV and The Big Bang. There is just one thing that drags me away from ITV Daytime - BBC One's No Win No Fee - I love it!

Exactly what I expected from you I have to say but where's 'This Morning'? Oh I know, move everything back 30mins, drop SS at 9:25, put This Morning at 1030 for an hour, Loose Women at 11:30 and carry on. Drop Shortie Street at 5pm, extend CITV to 5:30 instead (more Sabrina) and stick Catchphrase on at 5:30 with Roy Walker complete with shiny new ECP compatible credits and a Carlton/Granada endcap pending on who now owns the TVS archive and claim it was made in 2003.

There, much better don't you agree? Wink

Id have to say:

6.00 - 9.25 GMTV

9.25 - 9.30 TODAY ON ITV1 : A 5 minute preview of todays itv1 lineup; featuring guest line up's on this morning & today/loose women; plus a preview of the evening's line up.

9.30 - 10.30 TRISHA Wouldnt be my choice; but it gets high ratings for what it is; very popular with the grannies!

10.30 - 12.30 THIS MORNING With the introduction of Phillip with Fern, the show has come on leaps and bounds and its current style is great; though I wouldnt keep the summer highlights thing going! Would contain the main news headlines at 11 & 12, and local news following the 11am update (as usual)

12:30 - 13.00 ITV LUNCHTIME NEWS with Nicholas Owen continuing in his role; due to his fresh lunchtime attitude and popularity with the viewers. Would include regional insert and weather (as currently) .

13.00-14.00 TODAY WITH DES & MEL (Sept - April) LOOSE WOMEN (April - September) Usual; both popular with the audience, no need to get rid of them![/I]

14.00 - 14:30 Daytime Quiz such as the new show to be fronted by dale winton. Or re runs of classic prime time shows that can be played along with [in conjunction with Challenge][/I]

14:30 - 15:00 Shortland Street (I cant see any problem in it; though if viewers are watching!) The Choice A live interactive show where features would range from cooking to gardening; yet viewers would vote for everything they want to see. Just an idea!

15:00 - 15:30 News headlines; local news

15:15 - 17:15 CiTV[B] CiTV given a bit of extra time to play with; back to the old days of finishing later.

17:15 - 17:40 [B]Celebrity!
Remember the show a few years back with Andi Peters and Penny Smith that wasnt actually that bad? This is this; everyone likes Celebrity news; and I dont think it did that badly in the ratings did it? It was only meant to be a fill in until Crossroads was ready to start in January and filled it gracefully in my opinion!

ITV EARLY EVENING NEWS Yes its back; bringing the days news first!

18:00 - 18:30 Regional News at six

18:30 - 19:00 in a change from news and soaps on other channels; a quiz show/comedy

I had an idea once that in-vision continuity branded as ITV1 Daytime could be used to package the entire 9.25am to 2.30pm time together to increase viewers. They could talk about what's coming up and what's just been on, maybe with a competition thrown in, a bit like that thing that was attached to 'The Biggest Game in Town' that used to show at 9.25am.

What a great idea!!! Very Happy Mind you, I'd say it'd be better if they put Bob Mills's Win, Lose or Draw on at 9.25am, then the ITN News Headlines and regional news at 9.55am like they used to do...and then start ITV Schools until 12.30!!!

That'd be a wicked lineup from ITV!!!

Remember the good old days when they used to have on at 9.25am:-

- Win Lose or Draw
- Chain Letters
- Jeopardy
- Keynotes
- Talkabout
- Scavengers
- Summer Mornings CITV
- etc etc

Their morning could be SO much better than what it is right now!!! Trisha is SOOO boring and unwatchable! I hope they get rid of her in the new ITV1 idents on Monday!!!
