A late change to ITV Day schedule next week results in the following:

1.30 Cash Cab (Final week, then replaced with another cookery show)
2.00 Mum's on Strike (repeat)
2.45 Too Many Cooks.

Why is Cash Cab moved after one week at 3 p.m. and why are ITV repeating Mum's on Strike so soon?

Everything is comissioned for a really short time...ITV seem to be using most of their programmes on Day as an experiment...

I don't understand why the Springer Show starts at 9:25, yet just before it begins, Jerry says what will be on the show, and finishes by saying it is on at 9:25, despite it already being that time!

Surely it would make sense to say something like "and all that is coming up NEXT" or similar.

I haven't seen that many actual ITV Day idents yet, I've spotted a few menus 'with the ident as background' though.

It's the same with Little Brother on Channel 4, after Richard and Judy Dermot comes up and at the end he says "coming up after Richard and Judy".

Last night he definately said after R+J!

I remember thinking at the time how strange it sounded!

They probably played out the wrong trail as Dermot also pops up during Richard and Judy (which is when he says he'll be coming up after R+J of course).

ITV Day is changing again...on 4th July at 9:25 its The Jeremy Kyle Show....what the hell! Sounds like some American muck!

The Springer series seems so short...where has it all gone?? At least Trisha series lasted half a year...well it felt like that!

Sopringer was only ever going to be a short run thing, they want this Kyle bloke as a long term replacement.

Jeremy Kyle being Jezza, who had 'Jezza's confessions' networked on the Capital FM network a few years ago until they replaced it with Steve Penk. He then took the same show to Virgin, and finally back to Capital FM in London.

Didn't Jeremy Kyle do a stint on This Morning while Philip was away a few months ago?

Most of what you see on ITV Day are more like pilot runs, but I can see The Springer Show coming back for a longer run, as it is popular and beats Trisha on Five.

it looks like This Morning is set to continue during the summer

From Digital Spy

Van Outen to present 'This Morning'

Denise Van Outen and Richard Bacon are set to stand in for This Morning's regular presenters for six weeks over the summer.

Former EastEnders actor Chris Parker will also join the team in July and August to give weekly gossip tidbits every Tuesday, whilst Fern Britton, Phillip Schofield and Lorraine Kelly take a break.

The programme's editor Alan Rook said: "We're thrilled to have secured such a sensational line-up of presenters. This Morning will be an irresistible mix of ground-breaking and innovative features this summer.

"We're getting the show out across Britain in a way that hasn't been done before and we want everyone to get involved."

The summer edition will run from Monday, July 18 until Friday, August 26, reports Waveguide.
