not in London, where we are treated to in depth interviews with Cliff Richard, Mel B, and other celebrities with space in their diaries.

I think it was the right decision to get rid of the mid afternoon bulletin, rather than have 7 mins of news at lunchtime and then the same 7 mins or so of news again at around 3pm, having a longer bulletin with more in depth news really works IMO.

I would have to agree with Jez here, that the ITV Wales News longer bulletin at lunchtime is VERY good. There appears to be studio guests, a sports section and live links/interviews from around the country.
Rather than all news packages it is refreshing to hear reporters being interviewed about stories and live reports from various locations.
Why aren't other regions producing a bulletin of a similar quality!?? I have watched London Today on many occasions and have been disappointed by the type of stories used. One day the other week around five minutes was dedicated to 'interviewing' three pop stars in the studio and letting them just talk about their future records and projects. It was lacking in any direction or any news value and was a totally pointless filler.

I have to say, I am beginning to feel comfortable with Day, quite enjoying it now. I particularly enjoy Nanny 911, and I feel this is a welcome addition to he schedule, given that this type of programming is rarely seen at his time of the morning. Not glad to hear that its only on for one week though - ITV Day's only been with us for a month or so, yet still we have experienced quite a few schedule changes!

It's actually 9 weeks that the ITV Day brand has been on air now, and yes it has changed the schedule many a time, but as pointed out, they are current pilots that may be developed into longer series if they prove popular. I must admit, I liked the original line up with Loose Women, Perseverance and Mum's on Strike. But as a brand I think it's working quite well.
It still seems strange when you hear people like Jerry Springer promoting his new show as 'weekdays on ITV Day', but I presume people will get used to it.
