I don't understand the deal with the BBC1 beating ITV1 somehow being a major event and worthy of news
Is BBC1 supposed to be rubbish and never win a slot or something?
Are we in a world, where only the top rating programme is any good and everything else is automatically a flop? Coming 2nd or even 3rd out of 200 programmes in the multi-channel era is still good
When a show is number 2 in the slot by 2 or 3 million viewers then it is news. And when it's an established show being beaten then it is news.
