Oops, ITV running Soccer Aid promos, but with a UTV voice over.

They're still airing these promos during Britain's Got Talent. You would've thought they'd realise the error after the first airing.

That's automation for you I guess and nobody seemingly monitoring output anymore. There is probably nobody in during the weekend to login and change it.

They'll definitely be Transmission Controllers/Playout Directors on duty.* Media Planning error? I'm taking a wild guess that the wrong version of the promo was scheduled across the network and since it's the weekend no one's in the office to spot/correct it.

*And yes, they do monitor output, they have to write transmission logs for any mistakes that happened during that schedule TX day.

Yes the automation is doing what it was programmed to do. So if ITV is monitored the incorrect promo has either not been noticed, is not deemed important enough to change or cannot be changed.

Less a problem with the automation but the desire or will to change / remove.

When was the last time ITV had a copyright date in a Roman numerals?! Surprised to see one at the end of Our Shirley Valentine Summer.

Why does ITV need Roman numerals, leave the Roman numerals to the BBC.

Countdown - an ITV Studios production - uses Roman numerals in its copyright date too. Wink

Oh. And Channel 4. I'd never imagine Roman numerals on ITV in 2018. In the olden times, yeah.
