ITV Idents (Post Christmas)

ITV have returned to the music (once only used on SD - walking feet music) on this Cross-Channel Promotion

All in Upscaled SD. Unfortunately.

I've noticed this about ITV. Back when there was a seperate HD channel idents and end boards appeared lovely and crisp. Since playout has changed so that SD is now downscaled HD the HD idents and endboards look like upscaled SD

Maybe they should go back to the 2010 brand or add the 1 back to ITV1

I think ITV have done the right thing by downscaling their HD feed for SD

No. Absolutely not. I've seen the research behind the change to ITV and overall it has strengthed the brand. And that has nothing to do with the resolution of the OSP in playout.

I think itv should rebrand get rid of thous people idents they had for years time for change with all channels we've had mostly live action idents for to long now
