I wonder with a new boss we will see another rebrand to itv
I hope not, this has been their strongest identity for sometime.
I hope not as well, the current branding for the whole of ITV is really strong and could easily go for many years yet. Don't mind if they introduce new idents to main ITV channel but I am still happy with the current look.
The current ITV branding is its strongest and most coherent by far. Cannot see it changing, even more so with the fact that the main channel has over 200+ idents to choose from.
As for the main topic, Crozier has left ITV in a much better state than it was back in 2009. A much stronger force in the broadcasting world, especially with the strength of its studio arm.
Surely it depends on whoever takes his place? Some are keen to "make their mark" while others just want to carry on carrying the same torch.

I much rather itv became like sky one with there idents I can't see why people think itv idents are the best they had in years it just boring people or live action idents which is basic the norm these days

It's not just about the idents, it's the branding as a whole. It looks and feels like a 'family' than the 1998, 2002, 2006 rebrands.
What the idents lack in creativity they make up for in style, quantity and variety. They're probably the best set ITV have had for a long time, which probably doesn't say much.
