Yes he was. I remember reading in (I Think) "Dished" that David Frost asked Murdoch not to lure Boulton away. Murdoch said he couldn't promise.

Here’s TVAM on the day after the 1987 General Election. Anne Diamond’s co-host is Adam Boulton. She mentions that there’s just been regional insets and the ITN new bulletin at the top of the hour.

Compare to The first ( or second depending on your view) gulf war in 1991 when TVAM went off the air and was replaced by ITN news which according to legend had to correct what TVAM had reported.

I do remember on here years ago someone linked to some old usenet posts from the time of people discussing TV-am's Gulf War coverage. "Someone shoot a tactical missile at TV-am" I seem to remember one of the posts said.

From memory I think there were regional opts in 92

When Sky took on the news contract, was the news studio moved to the Sky studios or did Lisa Aziz stay at Camden Lock?

I believe Lisa stayed at TV-AM

Nope. They moved the set to the Sky News studios. All the news presentation came from Sky.
Lisa Aziz came over on a motorbike to be on the sofa at the end of the last show.
