ITV Re-brand -Excellent, okay or just more disappointment

Even if we don't like some of the idents, the blue and yellow needed to go fast, especially the regional versions and ITV Local:

But, do the regions have compnay logos like this in the new style. I haven't seen any yet?

They have them on their websites - its a blue ITV logo with the regions name afterwards.

They still have the old one on the ITV Westcountry page and the others

Overall, not great, really let down by ITV1.

ITV2 & 3 are better, but there are still many non-live action idents from the past that are just more catchy than these.

ITV 2 and 3 are great, I think. But ITV1 and ITV News just look like they were left to the last minute.

UTV, I have to say I'm glad they did something different with the scenery idents, and am quite impressed with what they did with what they were given. I'm glad it's these I will be watching rather then the ITV1 idents, though I will probably see lots of ITV1 when UTV mess up.

I have to say, I'm VERY impressed with most of the work on display.
ITV 1 - I think this will have legs, and thats probably one of the main considerations.
Whilst I understand peoples concern in the short term, these seem to be idents that will
create the correct emotive response when they get them right with the scheduling.

ITV 2 - Fresh funky and above all adventurous. Just what the channel should be about.

ITV 3 - Without doubt, some of the most stylish and beutifully shot idents I have evr seen on British TV.

ITV 4 - Slightly dissappointed in the execution, but great ideas, within a great concept.

ITV News - National - Stylish titles, but could have been crisper in my opinion - a dynamic refresh and far better than both the BBC and what they replaced. Love the Atrium, blows the BEEB out of the water. Far more sophisticated content gfx, much cleaner and better designed.

ITV News - Regions - Excellent titles. A very stylish solution to the old "lets have VT" problem imposed by editorial pressures.

On the whole, I think all other channels need to take a long hard look at themselves, and for the doubters out there - view it all again in a years time.....
