Split from ITV Encore coming in 2015 (February 2014)

Diet coke as the channel sponsor, looks like people have high hopes for this. At first I didn't understand the idea of another channel, but the idea works well to capitalise on the female audience allowing itv2 to go back to it's roots as itv's second entertainment channel.

I'm still not sure on the name. I'm sure itv5 would have worked, but it's nice to see them trying something else.

ITV Encore's channel sponsor is Dunelm, probably taking a leaf out of their book.

ITV Be's frequency now broadcasting on satellite, but with ITV2 fillers and presentation.

I think the point of the new channel is so it takes all the "female-skewed" programming from ITV2, and let that be a general entertainment channel again. That's the impression I get anyway.


I know it's one of ITV's biggest programmes but I really wish Jeremy Kyle would be switched (totally) to ITV Be too. It would help ITV with their fight to refocus their main channel in my opinion (my...those Allen/Green days really hurt that channel Sad )

Be are showing JK USA. However the main UK show rates well in the afternoons against the other multichannels.

I think Jeremy Kyle breaks up the programmes awfully. Id rather see This Morning or Lorraine extended.
