They're playing a three minute promo loop between 5:30-6am, presumably as testing or to ensure they don't lose their Freeview slot or something. Taped it this morning and the presentation looks quite nice, no similarities to the other ITV packages. It just shows clips of TOWIE, Dinner Date and all the US junk.

The branding for the channel looks fantastic. But I still don't see much of a differentiation between it and ITV2. I suppose we'll have to see.
I think the point of the new channel is so it takes all the "female-skewed" programming from ITV2, and let that be a general entertainment channel again. That's the impression I get anyway.
