ITV axes Scream from Saturday
ITV1’s Saturday night adventure series Scream! If You Want To Get Off is to be pulled from the schedules after just three episodes following poor ratings.
Not a surprise.
Bad choice of host. Brocket came all over as slimey and uncaring.
Bad choice of format. Seemed to be a mish-mash of all the games deemed to tame for I'm a Celeb...
It's Gone - good.
Pity it's replacement will be the usual 'stand-by' ratings pleasing trash.
I thought Brockett was quite good, although awful programme, especially for a Saturday night! Its a rip of from the top quality Survivor, that was axed!

Hmm.. ITV is most common to ALWAYS to this.. In my view it does wreck someones view on wanted to watch the snow.. Just shows you - Ratings are more important than enjoyment.
Don't get me wrong, didn't like the snow myself, lol.

Couldn't agree more about Brocket!
Personally i think that any show that hires someone from a reality show automatically seems cheap and tacky!
ITV need to think about ratings, for advertising, it's just what they have to do. I didn't like the show anyway, and I never usually go anywahere near ITV1 on a Saturday, and I won't until Parkinson and Ant and Dec are back, who have pretty much saved Saturday Night on ITV1 last year, besides The X Factor. What ITV1 need is a decent drama, I see they've got Ultimate Force which is a good move, Casualty works for BBC One, so ITV1 should try more Dramas which suit a Saturday Night.

I quite liked the series of 3 Comedy Dramas that they had on last year, with them Saturday Night Takeaway, The X Factor, Millionaire and Parkinson it was a great Autumn Season on ITV1, with Millionaire continuing and Stars In Their Eyes returning they could do with similar shows, perhaps they should have kept The Frank Skinner Show back until now. They could also do with something live, Love On A Saturday Night would have been ideal if it had worked out (and in my opinion it wasn't that bad, there's far worse on air), or something like Johnny & Denise's Passport To Paradise which would most probably go well on ITV1, shame it's a BBC programme that I believe has been axed now.
Interesting listings on Digiguide. This Saturday they're showing Fiddler on the Roof then Jurrasic Park (they're showing all three films, if anybody didn't know to replace them), it starts at 16:35 after the regional news and then has a break at 17:25 until 17:40 for the ITV Weekend News.
As for the 29th though, they've got Rosemary & Thyme at 13:25, then Midsummer Murders at 14:25. Following these it lists Regional News and then they'll be showing the Lost World starting at 16:35 again. The only problem is that at 17:00 it says the regional news (this time stating the regional name) is on again for 15 minutes followed by the ITV Weekend News at 17:15, and then at 17:30 the ITV National Weather, the only problem is that the film doesn't continue again until 17:40, so that's 10 minutes for the weather, that's even more in depth than the BBC's late weather view.
