ITV Autumn Schedule

So does anyone know what other series are coming up this autumn on ITV1? Will London's Burning be back or has that been axed?

IIRC correctly, London's Burning was axed last year. Probably had no bits of London left to burn down

Im not surprised it was axed - the final season was terrible - they changed half the cast and made the storylines really sleazy - a bit like Crossroads LOL

Also another ITV1 drama series that seems to have disappeared is A&E - I think this was axed because it couldnt compete with the other hospital dramas the BBC show

I think the Peak Practice replacement Sweat Medicine will debut this autumn.

I imagine Saturday nights this autumn will look something like this:

7.00 You've Been Framed
7.30 PopIdol
8.30 Millionaire
9.30 Pop Idol

10.30 Premiership.

Pop Idol has already been announce to be on at 6:30, head to head with Fame Academy.

Has it? The press reports Ive read say that Pop Idol is scheduled for a 7pm start on saturdays. Therefore they will go head to head for half and hour. itv said that they'd planned for it to be there for ages, and the BBC should have known; and that there is room for both, so they dont get why they are together.

Will itv move pop idol though? itv wouldnt put pop idol on as early as 6:30; the big shows go in at 7!

talking of pop idol; has anyone seen the ace new promos where simon cowell destroys things like a dog toy. Also notice that now for the itv1 + 2 the two is a metallic/light effect box that blue with a yellow outline and yellow two.

I saw an ad on ITV1 earlier today with a few of the progs coming up this autumn - I forget what they all were but Sweet Medicine was there

On the Pop Idol thing, it's been pulled back to a 7:15 start now, I think its this Saturday coming that it starts, not that I'm that bothered but some people might be. Fame Academy may have got the head start but seems to have fizzled out ratings wise now.

Stars in Their Eyes returns a week on Saturday as well.

About time! The reason Pop Idol is stuck in its slot is prebooked advertising, so that hopefully won't be a problem later in the series, and they'll no longer clash. But I see no reason why ITV can't just start Pop Idol at 7.30pm, poaching Winning Lines and Casualty's viewers.
