Former ITV announcer now on BBC One

Great to hear David back on a main channel. No idea if tonight was his first night but if so, here was his first appearance (it might take me a little while to get used to hearing him say 'BBC One' )

I wondered where I’d heard him before, but I couldn’t put my finger on it

He always sounds as if he’s congested to me! Now he’s moved to BBC One we’ll not get to hear him in Northern Ireland.
