There is another 'ITV 4 on M&M' slot tonight for the Boxing at 10pm.

I think the ITV4 presentation looks very good. It's quite slick, which bodes well for the other channels in January.

One thing though, this is supposed to be a 'young male' channel. Do young male's actually want to see old 60's adventure series ?

Well maybe one episode of a 60's programme per day is more than enough for me.

I don't the channel flooded with any particular type of genre - be it sport, reality, thrillers or 60's programmes.

So far they have got the balance right with a poke show at 10pm on Fridays - I wonder if The Devilfish will be appearing on this series?

The ITV4 on M&M slots should end soon, when Border region has ITV4 and the ITVNC timeshare restored. There'll be no need for it after that.

Due to the ignorance of ITV, they'll most probably end them from Monday when ITV4 is available on Sky, even if Border doesn't have by then.

ITV4 simulcasts on M&M (on Sky) should end tonight - or tomorrow at the latest. I don't believe there are simulcasts on Freeview - if there are it is a waste of bandwith!

I am wondering about your strange connection to ITV1 Border region on Freeview? ITV4 and ITVNC will continue to timeshare (for the whole country) until Feb/Mar 2006 when ITV Kids/Brats (whatever they call it) will replace ITVNC (unless they have stopped M&M or found another slot).

Yes, the simulcasts are on M&M on all platforms.

Border is the only region where Mux 2 has not yet been reengineered to allow ITV News and ITV4 to be squeezed in, so those channels are still unavailable in that region.

The new multiplexer is due to be installed mid-month.

Ok I’m lost trying to read al these posts.

Is ITV4 not available on sky yet, although there keep putting it on M&M for boxing?
But is available on freeview & cable for only 7hours broadcast.

or is it going to be time sharing with M&M?

Currently ITV4 is on air on NTL and Freeview (I'm unsure about Telewest). It time shares on Freeview with the ITV News Channel, that now only airs between 6am and 6pm on freeview.

ITV4 will begin broadcasting on Sky, EPG number 120 from Monday 7th November 2005.

Currently as ITV4 is not available on SKY, the launch night, and the football and boxing have been similcast on Men & Motors so that all viewers could see it.

As of Midday November 7th ITV4 have not be added to the Sky EPG. A shopping channel was added earlier this morning. Is Sky messing about still?
