ITV 3

Hiya!

Well, ITV1 looms over our heads, and then in the autumn we welcome in BBC Choice's replacement BBC THREE and BBC Knowledge's replacement BBC FOUR... Do you think that ITV would launch an ITV3?

If they did, I wonder what their idents would look like.. I suppose it would depend on whether or not ITV2's ident changes to the formal ITV look or it stays as-is..

What do you guys think of an ITV3?

I think they need to find enough programmes for ITV2 yet!

Seriously though, perhaps a youth channel from ITV would be good. Not yer rubbishy CITV but more like whereits.at except with less crap. That would be fitting of the ITV3 name perhaps.

I don't think ITV have enough content to stretch across 3 channels!!

Well actually ITV will very soon already have more than 2 channels.

They will have

ITV1
ITV2
ITV Sport Channel
ITV Sport +
ITV Select
ITV Sport Select

Do these not count ?

According to Broadcast / Mediaweek, ITV's next channels to launch will be:
- a movie channel (any ideas for a name guys?);
- a women's channel called ITV Talk;
- a CiTV channel.
