I really like this update to the Branding they’ve done.i do agree wirh the sizing of some words don’t seem right but I like it as a whole. The itv creates idents do seem to be getting a little tired though now compared to the 2013 set that were pretty much timeless as there were over 100 to choose from. I do like the music used in the created idents though.

Give me the occasionally brilliant and definitely unique Creates set over the 2013 moving wallpaper any day of the week.

The only issue I have is their reluctance to mix them up so it's not the same one all day. Weird they're still doing that.

Worth noting the "Programme not avaliable on this platform" banner (as shown above) is still using 2013 branding. This is a reason why the new branding fails to make sense. Yes, there are reasons why programmes can't be on the Hub (teleshopping, are exclusive to Britbox etc.) but it just feels... off.

Can only agree with others in saying this is a bit of a step backwards. The previous ‘layered’ design looked really effective IMO. Reminds me of when they tried to ‘square off’ the 2013 identity and essentially removed anything interesting or unique about it in the process. In a package so clearly based on curves and the expanding ITV ‘dot’, the emphasis on straight lines just didn’t work.

The ITV Hub, meanwhile, needs a significant update IMO. The colours, logo, etc. might have been updated, but I believe the main design and technology has remained much the same since 2013. In comparison to all of the features Netflix, Prime and even iPlayer have, the Hub is fairly underdeveloped.

One version is not as good, it's like the free versions of tv shows. With the development by Techbigs of Netflix, Prime Amazon, Cinema HD,...., ITV has been greatly behind.

I rather like the ITV update. It’s a bit cleaner than before.

I think this is a major step back.

It was a nice animation and concept before although I do prefer the new layout of the ECP text but in my opinion the channel logo looked much nicer in its 3 colour form and on the left of the screen.

The 2019 branding was in my opinion by far the best theve ever had. This is shockingly poor.

The BritBox promotion menu looks guff too. The logo looks really squished.

I might even go as far as to say I hate this rebrand however slight it may be it's obviously been done in-house and looks cheap whereas the old ones looked classier and was frankly more interesting. Why couldn't they've changed the HUB branding to something more interesting rather than dumbing down the main channel logo.

The other channels still look nice and hold freshness and the old look was a standout success. But this new look has made the channel seem boring and bland.

They've just played out one of the 2019 "More Than TV" stings, with the 3-layered logo. Continuity error strikes again.

Seems like it's not a blip. ITV must've had second thoughts over the monocolour logo.

ITV have always been known for their inconsistency in branding.
It also looks like they are trying to plug the ITV Hub brand everywhere possible just like what BBC have been doing with iPlayer for about a year.

Yes, but ITV didn't need to unpick the basis of their 18 month old presentation style in order to do it. Simply slapping on an 'ITV Hub' logo in a box in the corner at the end would have sufficed. However, it seems they've back-tracked now anyway.
