ITV 2019 idents and presentation - ITV Creates

Granada TV's "New Station Theme" by Keith Mansfield is my favourite, and brings back so many memories . . .

Two points of order. I think the TVS theme wasn't written by Ed Welsh, he did TSW's 'That's Soul Write' ? So the corresponding credits for TVS and TSW on that clip are wrong I think ? That aside, what a fantastic video !

Richard Hill composed the TVS theme.

Ed Welch arranged That's Soul, Right but IIRC it was written by someone else.

Week 47: Sam Curtis and Dave Bennett

Seems a bit nïeve. It’s just the ITV logo out of scaffolding...that’s it.

God, that is probably the worst so far.

Sort of reminds me of the 2002-2003 BBC Choice idents. I guess it's because, well... the scaffolding. That's about it though really.

It reads as ‘itv’ but doesn’t bear a resemblance on the channel’s logo.

I’d like to see them branch out to digital artists and animators rather than static pieces.

I forgot there was a new ident out. Losing interest rapidly.

I've kind of noticed now how little I actually watch ITV - probably catching one or two airings of these a week at the moment.

The 5 part logo all over the place at the debate in Salford.
