ITV 2019 idents and presentation - ITV Creates

So hardly on everything then. It always happens with a revamp though - they'll tire of the slogan soon.

Was saving judgement unit l I saw it on screen but unlike most here I'm really not a fan of the endboards, ECP and bumpers. Just looks a bit messy to me and grey is never the best colour to dominate the screen with

The opening set of idents are very nice though and it would be a shame to lose them after a week. I would prefer them to add to the set each week rather than replace them completely. At the very least they at least have a fairly news safe identify to start with that can be used throughout the year if necessary.

If all of them are done this well, then there's no reason why these idents couldn't cycle around for at least 2 or 3 years.

A million times better than Oneness, but that bar was set incredibly low anyway.

Originally it was always supposed to be referred to as the ITV Hub.

The fact that something which is supposed to be called "(the) ITV Hub" has never had a logo that actually sodding well has the word "Hub" written anywhere in it, is far more of a niggle for me than whether or not it is supposed to be prefaced with the definate article.

Same applies to the "All" of "All4".

I thought I saw it on a tv promo too but must be mistaken, but yes, this.

I thought the same thing when the original ITV Hub logo was introduced. Surely it wouldn't be hard to create a nice logo including the word Hub but still matching the rest of the ITV family of logos.

Not a big issue but the 5 colour ITV logo still used on ITV Racing when promoting upcoming races

Hmmm...not sure about the endboard, there's a lot going on and it's quite blocky. I still think the surrounding presentation of 2013 was the best. Simple, stylish, with a nice animation.

The lower third credits was wishful thinking then, so that's a shame. I like to think the rules have been relaxed on black credits but I bet not.

The idents are obviously going to be the highlight over the next year. No doubt some will be better than others but it'll be interesting to see the variations. Nice of them to give Pug one final outing in full. It was probably the most recognisable ident, especially given Ant & Dec's spoof early on.

Just spotted a fourth ident before You've Been Framed.
It simply featured pan shots of the ITV logo installation.

Does anyone have any caps of the ECP? Also, do ITV still use an IPP graphic?

There's some on TV Whirl and I'm not sure.

As for the fourth ident aired before You've Been Framed, did anyone else find the audio seemed to be getting clipped during the announcement (this was on ITV HD)?
