Nearly half way through at this point. 28 more weeks to go after this one. I wonder what they'll do at the end of December?

Paint the ITV logo red and hang some baubles from it or something uninspired...

And then they'll start the cycle all over again!

I do feel that they’ve kept the remit of this too narrow. My understanding of it originally was that they would literally brand the whole channel each week, but keeping it as filming physical pieces of art isn’t quite that.

Still love the music though.

I wonder if she's from the Border region?

Very interesting concept. Sort of reminds me of the BBC One balloon for some reason.

Surely the most obvious comparison is with the Anglia flag ident?

Well, I can certainly spot a similarity or two!

Someone put the Anglia music over this ident.

BBC 2 Silk has similarities too.

Is this the first of these idents to modify the shape of the logo, with the dot of the i being replaced by a heart?

Possibly.
Also I love that it has Anglia flag vibes. It looks very elegant.

ATV-esque eyes, thunderbolts like Watch It!, hearts and the flag concept Anglia and Granada (Setting the Standard from the mid-90s) have used in the past.

So many aspects you could interpret as nods to the past... and a +1 to anyone who creates any mash-ups from me.

Christ, I miss jingles. You forget how good they were after years of music.

Still a beautiful, dramatic jingle after so many years.

It's getting to the point now were these don't work well when stretched through a week.

Are you suggesting they commission one a day?
