Look, just because she painted the logo differently doesn't mean you have to discriminate the artist and her work.

Art is supposed to make people have different opinions but calling out on a disabled artist who did her very best to create such a piece of art was uncalled for and just plain stupid to say.


I never discriminated the artist or even mentioned their disability. If anything I have more praise to give than criticsm. I only have a personal problem with the design of the logo - which I am clearly not alone in thinking. If other people think differently then that's absolutely fine by me as I have no problem whatsoever in people voicing their own opinions as long as I can give mine too.

Fair enough then. I mean people were saying last week's looked like an STD. So I think it's fully reasonable that I am just not too fond on the dimensions this week. It's hardly a bad piece of art in any way. I just have one slight criticism.

I totally agree Natwel,
The piece is lovely and vibrant, the ident with the sped up creation offers something different to what we’ve seen before, but at the end of the day the logo is the branding of the channel, the ratio of the sizing should be key in all of these idents.

Very interesting concept. Sort of reminds me of the BBC One balloon for some reason. I guess it's because that is also an everyday physical symbol for the channel to represent itself through.

But then again, I feel bad comparing this clip of a flag thing to the masterpieces that are the BBC One Balloon idents!

Some get boring after a day. They’re just not very good most weeks because most are too static.
