Split from ITV presentation refresh in the New Year (January 2019)

Yawn, it just keeps on going, these endless predictions when the UTV name will be dropped. Then in 2020 when it stays, it will obviously be 2021... then 2022.

To actual viewers in Northern Ireland, the UTV idents are still relatively new, so didn’t need replacing.

Well UTV still has a full set of presentation now as they did yesterday, so how have you reached that conclusion.

No. The rebrand, as far as I know, only effects the main channel.

Oh, for heaven's sake. The only way this circular discussion will ever finish is if they actually *do* end the UTV brand. For that reason alone, I hope it happens.

The obvious reason they didn't duplicate the campaign is because of extra cost – it would potentially up to double the production budget.

There really is no merit in having the same discussion over and over. It's futile, it's been done to death.

Wasn't there supposed to be a new look/logo for ITV Hub? Has it been revealed yet?

So they're using a lot of different colours for the breakbumpers and ECPs
So far the breakbumpers have used red, purple, pink/magenta, orange, green, ITV's signature teal, blue and gold/yellow.
That's all I've seen so far

I can't take watching those same rotating few idents every season anymore.

I'm switching to itv from now on unless I need to watch something in hd.

What a ridiculous comment.

Definitely getting a Channel 4 vibe from the new look. The breakbumpers look great, I’m not entirely sure on the endboards but it’s definitely an improvement.

I like the colours they're using too

Simple yet it gives the channel a "premium" feel
